If its got a waranty, Id say take it back and let them **** with it. If not, I'd ask the tech forum...from what I've read here, we dont know too much about audio stuff.

who installed it, it sounds like you might have a bad connection or something.

a place called sound innovations installed it, and i don't think i have a warrant for it which kinda pisses me off but oh well. the only two wires i couldn't see if they were connected was the end ground wire and the end REM wire which is hooked up to the head unit. but yeah in reply to the other guy i have my question in the audio forum also

if your power light dosent light up than its either the remote turn on wire, the ground wire, or the power line from your battery. check your fuse for the amp that should be under the hood and check the fuse in the amp if it has one. if not...if you have a test light or know some one who does test your constant from the battery, and the remote turn on when your radio is on. if those both have power then its your ground wire. hope that helps

+1 on what he said...... Hopefully you do not have the amp bridged into an OHM load that it cannot handle. Newer amps have a safety cut out (red light) that will illuminate and tell you stop what you are doing but if it is an older amp and you are over working it (OHM rating) then it could have fried the board of the amp. Probably not the latter.......but you cannot leave any stone unturned.
