x pipe installed, problems

well i installed my buddys x pipe this past saturday the install went very good took me about 1.5 hrs to install. we went to test drive it and it sounds good until he revs high or gets on it hard it makes a loud tinny sound and i cant find anything touching the pipe
also the friggin cel is on [:@] i put the mils on and he had it scaned and it says that the right side bank 2 is the problem. any thoughts on this

Tinny as in a vibration or tinny as in ricey?

As for the CEL...clear the codes see if it comes back on.

what do you mean a loud tinny sound? like pipes bouncing off eachother? or like an exhaust leak? are the bolts tightend up good? i heard mils only work like half the time or something. he should have bought a tuner.

well what kind of x pipe is it? and also i have a magnaflow x on mine with cats- its mean as ****, when i go WOT- there is slight rasp maybe thats what your hearing. l/ts and a catback will help clear this ive been told.. does anyone know FOR SUREEE?????

it souns kinda ricey like the x is made out of flex pipe
he said he had the code cleared twice. and as for a tuner what kind and what do those run in price

well there's nothing you can do about the sound That's the 'tune' of the x-pipe. New mufflers with a different resonance frequency will help with that.

As for the MILs don't have any experience with those.

Is it a bad combo because of the year of car or because of the 2 manufactors don't sound good together?
The reason that I'm asking is I'm thinking of getting a BBK catted X plus I have a Flowmaster cat back.

im sure he is talkin about the combonation. get a mac o/r h with flow catback, and it will sound like sex.
