Default Tuneable Induction Cai ?

I was perusing v6mustangstuff.com and say the tunable induction intakes. I have the K&N cai and I was wondering if there would be any binifit in the tundable over what I have now. I know the TII is a sealed in fenderwell design where as the K&N is open to the hot air( has heat shield though). Any expierences with the TII?

Having the filter sealed in the fender would not be better than it sitting out in the engine bay. I am not sure how good of a job that heat shield actually does. I do like the look of the TI though. Is the gree filter oiled like the K&N?

yeah its oiled like the K&N, the FIPK does a decent job of keeping the hot air out. I like my filter in the fender buts its a pain in the *** to take out to clean.

TI is one of the few who sell a CAI that will fit under a strut bar.

I have a Steeda and they have a pipe that will fit under it.
Never got around to ordering it yet though.

That was my question. Although they of course have some slight differences between another brand fenderwell intake, I can't find any real diff. Thought it was just me.....
