He's probably got high mileage, thus a supercharger wouldn't be a very good idea. And he's probably hurting for money, otherwise he'd just drop a whole new engine and not even worry about the original question. Your best bet is sell yours and buy a Cobra of any year. They're all 4V and capable of holding a lot of horsepower. 2V's just werent built for heavy modding in mind. I have a spun bearing in my 99 GT 2V, and im probably going to just swap for a Cobra/Mach1 4V motor. It seems like the best way to go on a mild budget. Should prove to be a nice outcome; looks like a V6, sounds like a V8, performs like a Cobra

Well I most definetly dont have the miles on the engine, it only has 22k miles on it. I just want more power I let you know how money is in about a month or 2, I just got married and have to make sure Im ok monthly, should be, but I would rather be sure [8D]. Say I get a 99-02 cobra with the 4v engine, would i be able to put a 03/04 cobra blower on top of that? I didnt think there was a difference in engine from 99-04 other than the blower and the accessories that go with that.

Lol oh, i figured you were looking to swap because of mileage. Well, then by all means, blow your GT. And as far as i know (dont quote me) the Terminators are totally different than the 99-02 Cobras. But i cant imagine why you'd want to put a stock blower on it, i would go with Kenne Bell, and im sure quite a few people would agree with me

just go with the swap. everything ive seen points to that. go do a search for the 4v ford engines, or for lincoln aviator&navigator 03-05 motors. they are 4v for the most past and bolt right in. when i get the maney that'll prolly be my route.

Yea since you are on a rather tight budget, i would swap it out. Sell your current motor as well, since it only has 20 something thousand miles. Hell if you're serious about it, let me know, i'll buy your motor off of you. I need something to last me until tax refund so i can actually afford a Cobra motor.
