I was just wondering how hard it is to install a shaker like that of the mach 1's on a 2002 Gt? Also if it would be worth it?

 

Worth it if you are going for the shaker look... If you mean power, no.

 

I have an 02 gt (with the false scoop) and I was thinking about a shaker too, but you don't get much hp from it, and it's about $700 for the kit. I found out that you can mod your existing hood, but if if you really are going for the shaker look, you'd want the shaker hood too. IMO save the $$ and put it towards a s/c & intercooler.

 

go to karkraft.com they have everything to put an oem mach shaker system on a 99-04 2v
im not sure if they carry the hoods in stock. i would personally buy a used one to save alot of money. the conversion would gain no HP.
