you will need to buy a new midpipe. you can just take off those two arms it wont fit right. as you can see the part where the two pipes connect is pointed to the left and the headers will not point to the left. i have bbk CHROME headers and they work fine. i got chrome because i got a killer deal. if not i would of gotton ceramic. i got my lt's and midpipe off of http://www.texashotrods.com/

What headers will allow you to remove the tranny without having to remove the headers?

go to ebay and search for headers. Texas Hot Rods has em on there for about 390 shipped for bbk/mac

as much as people bag on them I have had no problems with flowtech Lt's there easy to install and cheap they go for 275 at summit racing.

In regards to the transmission question. It depends on what tranny you have. I have an auto, so that puts BBK's out of the question. I've heard good stuff about MAC, I'm going that way when I can save up the money for the whole exhaust system.
