Are your tires spinning? I assume that's what happening. Your losing traction, the road has a very slight curve like most do...and your rear end swings out.

Better tires, suspension upgrades (upper/lower control arms, drag shocks), or practicing until you get better launches will prevent this...

Yep, same for prbly most of us on here. I have stock tires, stock suspension, it happens to me too. The rear ends of the mustangs like to break free b/c their torque monsters.

They like to break free because the stock suspension is garbage, and it struggles for traction. The torque is ok, but if the suspension was better the grip could be phenomenal.

Touche, well to solve also my problem, whats the main thing I should get for my suspension to increase this traction? I'm still asking people. I dont have a huge budget, maybe about 800-1000 bucks. Whats one thing I could get to extremely help me out for a DD without unaligning everything else or messing up more suspension? (since I read that if you do one thing to the suspension it messes a lot of stuff up)

Lower control arms can help a TON with traction. It depends on where you want to go with the car. Drag shocks can help you a ton as well, since it will help you transfer the weight to the rear tires. This is all ok if you don't mind the rear end being super soft on the streets. A panhard bar could help a little, but I think that's more to do with the sideways stepping you encounter when cornering and hitting bumps. That really keeps the car in control, not sure how it affects straight line performance though.

Maximum Motorsports has everything you would need for both drag and track applications, and their tech support is awesome. I would contact them and tell them what your plans are with the car, and they can provide you with the best help regarding your budget.
