you need to get a tool from autozone, napa .... it's about 3 dollars. un hook everything and use the tool to separate the filter from the line. take out old put in new.

Does the fuel filter have to be replaced every 10k miles like the write up says? Mine is original and I have 27k miles on her and Im wondering if I should change it
Make sure you depressurize the system via the schraeder vavle or opening the gas cap. EVERY time I change the filter I end up covered in fuel, I've come to terms with this but it might just be me =P
