help! Muffler Swap - how will it sound?!
So I have a ghetto rigged custom exhaust on my stang and as it is, it sits too low because of the mufflers. If I swap out the stock mufflers with these..

How will it effect the sound? Right now with my bbk shorty headers, bbk h-pipe with the cats gutted and flowmaster 40's out my *** it sounds absolutely incredible. I don't want to change that!

With Loudmouths....expect to blow the people out of the ****in water. Those things are no joke lol...think of Flowmasters times 10. SLPs sound like dragsters basically. Cops love em im sure...but from what i've heard they sound more loud and obnoxious then nice...but thats just me

I appreciate it - for one reason or another my car almost sounds like it's running open headers .. I just dont want to sacrifice that and have it sound *** cannish. I really have no experience with mufflers like that.

I got to admit - I love the popping. What causes that? I used to think it was the cats buring **** off but if there's more popping with an o/r h-pipe obviously it's not the cats
And does an H-Pipe with the cats punched out sound the same as a catless one?
