Are long tubes worth it?

RE: Are long tubes worth it?
A lot of people told me that shorties are just as good as long tubes for hp and they cost a lot less. Money isn't an issue since I wanna get what's best. I want my car to sound ****ing rediculous.

You will gain almost nothing from shorties.
LTs dyno proven at some points to produce 18 RWHP ALONE, then if you add the rest of the exhaust your looking at around a solid 20-22 rwhp gain.
So the short answer to your question - Go LTs or go home.

Longtubes are awesome, and you will gain a little nut, but in a lot of states, they are illegal, and they'll ding you for it at Inspection, so know your state's Laws before going through the arduous tasking of installing them...
Also understand that if your clutch, rear main seal, or tranny are hurting, don't install them until that is taken care of..
