I have a 99 yellow convertible, and I was wanting to slap some nice black racing stripes on it. I mentioned it to my g/f and she thought it wouldn't look good on a vert, so I'm still debating the issue. What do you guys think?

Also I saw people saying they paid over $150 for stripes from baltimorestreetmods.com, and I was seeing the for no more than $50 for non-special colors. Maybe I missed something? http://baltimorestreetmods.com/stripe.htm#12inch

But If thats right I was thinking about going all out 12 inches for stripes.

2003 black vert here.

I saw a picture someplace where the stripe extended to the metal above the windshield, skipped the top of course, and then went over the trunk and down over the bumper.
Looked pretty good.

I think it would look clean as hell.... i say go for it...i dunno if i would extend the stripes all the way back but i think it would def. look clean on the hood

If i did it, I would probably go all the way back. I think it would look pretty sick with the top down.

And I would probably hit that section right above the window before the top like you said

IMO, if you do them, definitely do them all the way back. I'll bet they would look good.

yeah im thinking about getting racing stipes to , but not for $139, ebay has some for $30. But i think most yellow stangs look good with black racing stripes
