All right here is the story...I have a 1998 GT with all the bolt ones and super clean. I am doing a lot of OT at work to save money towards doing engine work. I know that the 98 heads suck, so I am looking into getting a set of 99 pi heads and going to a stage two set up (cams and valve train).
I am a college student as well so I don’t have a lot of money but I DO NOT want to go cheap on this. Does anyone have any helpful hints or know of a place that does good work at a reasonable price, maybe do core exchange. Thanks for the input.

buy a used set of p.i. heads, you can pick up a set for around 300 bucks. the cams and springs etc will cost a lot, but will be worth it. do the work yourself and have some buddies help.

first off jmmorgan i love your sig, that is great, but i am in the same boat, i need a place to find the used heads. i have been havibg problems finding them

when you find them and want to save money with the p and p just go out and buy a dremil. and pretend like you know what your doing.

first off you cant run a stage 2 cam on the stock pi heads...you need bigger valve springs for the bigger lift.....you might wanna check into patriot heads....or sean hyland, a stage 1 cam will work on the stock valve springs but wont give you as much power......or the lope either
