I don't do much highway driving, and it doesn't seem like they are a huge step from 4.10's so would it be stupid to go the extra step? or just stick with getting the 4.10's....I know of one person with the cobra that has 4.30's anyone else? People who have gears just let me know what ya think, i don't know if i will be doing much modding in the near future, so i was thinking the 4.30's might make up for that.....

Opinions on it all would be great, thanks guys!

Do you want to have a useable 1st gear? And you bettwe plan on running a DOT drag radial to somewhat find the pavement.

mpo 4.10's are not for daily driving 3.73's are my gears of choice. 3k rpm at 65mph is high enough for me

why the hell are you turning 3k at 65 mph ?

I'm not i have a stock rear end. my friend who has a 3.73 is really close to 3k rpms at 65-70 mph

Those RPM's don't sound right at all...see this calculator.

i have 3.73s and at 65-70mph i do about 2k rpms in 5th

yea 3.73s here as well and im turning about 2500 at 80
i dont think hes got 3.73s mabye 4.73s haha

Well the guy with the cobra has that 6th gear too...

I've got 4.10's, I would say that you don't need any more gear than that. Course I went from 2.73's to 4.10's. It was a big jump.

i considered going with the 4.30's over the 4.10's as well, i went with the 4.10's and i think they are just right. the cobra also spins 1k faster.
