it gets way to cluttered in here with BS threads, so bad that if you were to reply in a tech thread and come back the next day it might be 4 pages back. Splitting the forum works great on Stangnet and other forums so why not here? Plus this section could use another moderator or 2!

BTW, this thread should be deleted.
Seriously though, I don't see how a subtopic would help though since we already have an OT. People post in 4.6 because it gets more "traffic" than OT. At least it seems that way to me.

RE: 4.6 THREADS
Why do we have to bring it up if a thread is ot? Isnt there someone designated to look after this section? we shouldnt have to pm someone and say "hey this is ot" everytime . O ya, and i agree totally.

It is not our sole responsibility to take care of this place, just like anything else in life. We need help from our members to help keep this place running smoothly.

RE: 4.6 THREADS
I prefer the moderators to be actively contributing to threads than to be policing all of the threads. I happen to like to hear Dan and Codes input on things than to see them punting OT threads all day. If there's a problem that's not worth PM'ing them about, it's not worth complaining about to everyone else. This is a Mustang community, meaning it should be somewhat self-sufficient.

As long as your response pertains to the original topic, there isn't a big beef behind veering off topic with something else really. However senseless stuff to rile people up is crossing the line. I mean, it's just a matter of using common sense and we can all be serious Tech wise and still have fun & off-topic orientated conversation here without ruining threads & driving good threads off the main page or two.
Sometimes judgement calls have to come into play when we allow things to be the way they are, & not everybody agree's with it. But that is the nature of the beast. If people don't like it, they need to go outside and get a life - because this is just a world of anonymous text when it's all said & done...

RE: 4.6 THREADS
another thing that might contribute to this.. is the posting and over posting of the same question 8 different times in a row just because someone doesnt see it on the front page...
it would help so much if people used the SEARCH option first... im sure almost all of them could find thier answers that way...
but i agree with you guys.. good call
