Default GT vs. Z28

okay... so one of my buddies wanted to race me, so we went to our quarter mile just outside of town, he blew me big time... its a Z28 camero (6speed) with some mods... it runs strong.. it beat me by about 2.5 cars or so... and his buddy followed behind us... and we went to the turnaround point, and his buddy stopped and quoted this .. "let's ****in' race, i'm tired of this damn ford revin' it up at me"...straight up azzhole about it, so yah, i took on a Z28, and we were racing, i jumped him big time (the fool can't launch), 1.5 cars or so ahead, then he pulls back up at the end, we are tied, then he shifts to 4th gear and he beats me by about 6 feet...

give me ideas on what to get to beat this fool...

What year Z28? SOunds like it is an LT1 (93-97)

I'm sure he has some mods done to it, so it isn't stock. So you will need to get a few more

mods done yourself. I would get an X-pipe and a Programmer or Dyno tune.

That should be enough to keep him in your mirror.

Well, his mustang is an auto so he was probably racing an LT1.

LM1's kick ***.

Once you get your gears installed and a midpipe, you should take him.
