if you have a 17x9 .. you can go up to a 275 40 im pretty sure from my past experience.. I'd wait til you got a 10 or 12 in the rear to throw on some 305 - 315's ......

I agree with akelemecz. I would wait until you get a wider wheel in the back so you can run a 315. If you are wanting to stay stock wheels I would suggest some BF/Goodrinch G-Force T/A not the drags but the ones a step b4 it. They stick very well.

Honestly the widest I've ran on a 10" is a 305 .. and they were more than plenty of tire .. I'd wait for a 12 to run 315's ..but thats just me ...

If you are on a stock bullit (which is 17x8) you have 2 main choices.

THe first of which is the stock 245/45/17 size.
The other, is to widen it out to a 275/40/17.

Either one will be the correct overall diameter (height) but the 275's will have a small buldge, nothing to worry about though.

Its up to you really.

the 275's will give me better traction right? Im thinking about buying some cheap rims just for the D/R's....so I dont use them alot and I can get a bigger size....what yall think?
