That is what the clutch is for. If u dump the clutch u will spin the tires all day! Play with the clutch untill u find that point when it launches hard with minimal tire spin. Practice!

..... Practice!I recently went to the track and researched the heck out of launching techniques, and studied my dyno sheets, and in the end it came down to experience. i sucked, and i really need more practice.

See this is what confuses me about reading other's techniques for launching. I just dump it at 3k and I spin a tiny bit and I'm off like a bullet. I beat AWD cars off the line. I want to experiment with feathering the clutch and other stuff, cause from what I've been reading on posts like this, there are better ways. We'll see. They're right though. Practice practice practice. Practicing launches will help you a ton more than reading on a forum will.
