Default The Basics of Traction

So, of everything I have learned here in the past few months, I haven't learned much about how to get the power to the ground. What is everyone's views of what the basic and first modifications should be made to make the tires stick to the road?

Control arms, springs, shocks, struts, sub-frame connectors and sticky tires.

Code, would you say stick with that order? ...That is...if my stock equipment isn't ratting out and my tires (Although street) are new.

Panhard bar won't do much for straight line stuff.

How can you argue that Tires are not the first, most basic, and initially most effective traction mod?

I wouldn't really call tires a mod though...more like a choice to be made during routine maintenence that could have a big factor on traction. That is, once you have a decent width of wheel.

So is there a general consensous that a control arm from say Blue oval industries(The ebay special ones) are going to be just as good as say lakewoods traction action control arms? Also will a top of the line Steeda be any noticebly better than the aformentioned ones?
