There is no difference in ride quality really. I like it way better then when I had the eibach sportlines on there. Those are to stiff so I pawned them off on my wife. But she likes them

Yeah they are 17's.

I do scrap, only when i'm at school though because the parking lot i park in has a cliff to get in. I have to take it on an angle. However, in a year, i've probably scraped twice in places other than on my campus. Keep in mind I have long tubes as well. I'm very happy with the springs. Drop the front a good amount, and the back doesnt drop as much so it doesnt effect launching as much.

so when you have a

STIFF SPRING = launch better? rides harsher?
SOFT SPRING = launch not as good as it could be? rides smooth?

i dont get this part.

Opposite, Stiffer springs better handling (less body roll). Soft springs better for drag launch because of the weight transfer. The lower/less spring you have the worse it is for launching, less spring to compress and transfer weight over the rear tires.

Also, when i say handling that doesnt mean smoother, just can handle turns easier. THe softer the springs the better ride, but really its a mixture you dont want one extreme or the other.

right. i understand 100% now.

so say i were to go with a softer spring, like a sportline- than adjustable shocks would make a dramatic difference in ride smoothness? as well i could adjust them to a stiffer setting to support our spring here, "sportlines", to lauch better??
