Default HELP - EXHAUST PROBLEM

Here is my issue on my 2001 GT and I hope some of you have dealt with this as I am pretty freaking pissed.

The Cat on the left side sits lower on the right and most of all, both cats sit lower then my side skirts. What have any of you done to correct this?? Now to be legal I can't cut the mid pipe cats off as well as the secondary cat that connects to my -Pipe.

Any ideas???

Lol, mine actually sits lower on the passenger side. I have a feeling I just need to take it off and put it back on to level it out, but I really don't feel like it. Although it sucks because it makes me scrape on the passenger side over some speed bumps.

Well either way I want the pipe to be sitting even on both sides of the car. My midpipe is like angled so that its higher from the ground on the driver side than it is on the passenger side. I'm gunna take it off and put it back on again soon and see if I can level it out....unless anyone has any other ideas? lol

O/R pipes are illegal in CO so unless I can get a shop to ignore the law I can get that done. The O/R pipe is the same thing as i was stating with just removing the cats and running the straight pipe from the X to the headers.

They are illegal EVERYWHERE, some places just don't have testing, and cops are less stingy about checking for cats etc...

The very first techish exhaust thread I've ever seen and all that was contributed was people telling us to just run offroad pipes. Guess I'll really just have to pull my midpipe off and **** around with it to see if I can get it level.

Just got to take it off and try to reposition it.

I'm all for keeping the cats on. The reprocussions aren't worth it.

Yeah I kinda had a feeling it was my only option.

Also I agree about the reprocussions not being worth it...especially if you live here. It's like a 1200 dollar ticket if I get pulled over and ticketed for not having my cats.
