I took mine off and I could feel a slight difference...no sag in midrange, and it sounds a little better too...it doesn't cost anything so what the hell lol

$50 ebay short ram chrome CAI with a matching "RED" K&N knock off and it does great.

Mine doesnt even go into the fender well its just there right up directly behind the headlight assmebly ive had no issues.
