Not completely positive, but i thought it was like 480-500rwhp. Anything more is pushing it.

500RWHP is the safe point on it or is that when you're a ticking time bomb?

Ive seen way higher... 800hp with just knife edging the stock crank, but that doesnt add strength, so who knows

hrmm.. my goal is to get right around that 500RWHP mark. if i got that, i'd be happy. i'm also trying to find some blower cams for it but not having much luck. summit doesn't seem to have any.

the blocks i'm looking at have the same setup except one has a forged crank for about $600 more.

i may be getting all this if i don't sell my car in the next couple weeks.

The rods suck. They looked very britle. I was told the crank would hold around 450-480.

Why chance it? Go forged or worry about it every time you hit the throttle.

If we're talking a bone stock 2v engine, 400rwhp is as high as I would go. The stock rods in the gt motors cannot sustain that much horsepower. If you have any hopes of achieving 500rwhp, I'd seriously consider forging the internals.

http://www.seanhylandmotorsport.com/

They offer great prices for what is needed to reach 500rwhp

If you're looking for blower cams, go to www.vtengines.com That's where I got my new forged motor and blower cams. They have 3 stages of blower cams.
