i have and 04 automatic gt what should be some of the first mods that wont void a warranty or are easy enough to switch out for checkups. i was thinking a programer but im sure how the whole defualt thing would work. i need some horse power!!!!!!!

cold air intake,exhaust system,underdrive pulley kit,short trow shifter,computer chip so many options out there but i would do an exhaust system first..if money is tight...underdrive it

it all depends on your dealership. Best thing to do is contact the service manager and ask them how far you can go. Most will say that they will fix any problem on the car that doesnt directly link to the UD pullies. I have a full offroad exhaust and several upgrades and they have never once told me they couldnt fix a problem of mine. Like I said... it all depends on the dealer.

 

ya i dont know the guy was kinda a d*** i asked about getting exhaust and he was like it has a meter in the cats or something so i wouldnt do it blah blah and then he was like your car is fast enough you dont need to do anything to it......where do you live jdaniel, and what do underdrive pullies do for your car?

 

basic bolt ons should be fine. i have what u see in my sig and my dealer dosent care.

 

underdriven pulleys slows everything down,Its lenghtens the life of your accessories giving you a good 8-10 hp maybe more on some models

 

Im in Killeen Tx and thats what underdrive pullies do is slow the accessories down to allow the engine some free up room.
