1992 Fox Will out run a 1996 GT. Thats all iam getting at. AND the 94 - 95s are suposed to be slightly faster then the 96-97.
would you belive me if i told you my AUTO 97 GT outran an AUTO 2003 GT?
it happened, i passed him at 80ish mph with only ONE mod. Everynow and then things like that happen it it screw everyones perspective.

Def not true. The 94 and 95 mustangs were some of if not the slowest ever. Especially the autos.

1990 - 1993 they run low 14s
1994 - 1995 they run high 14s
1996 - 1998 they run from 14.8 - 15.1 (1998 had a computer tune)
1999 - 2004 run 14.0 - 14.2 ( tarnny change in 2003)

I am just telling you what I saw. All he has is headers, O/R H, dumped flows, and a cai. So he is basically stock and I witnessed with my own eyes him running a 14.2 @ 96 in his fox. He said his auto is pretty built up with a shift kit and stuff, but no stall. Call me a liar if you want but I have no reason to defend the foxes and claim they are faster than npi's.

So let me get this straight...
96-98 Cobras run 14.0 stock. FACT
96-98 GTs run 14.9-15.1 stock. (basically 15 second car)
Fox bodies are faster than 96-98 GTs meaning 14.8 or faster.
so.......
305hp @ 14.0 vs 215-225hp @ 14.8 or less? I don't think so.
Also....LXs are faster than the GTs right? The LXs come stock with 2.xx gears. Cobras come with 3.27 gears. Again....I don't think so.
