Default Selling the pointless gauges?

Alright, i bought electronic boost/fuel gauge after i got the supercharger.

C2 electric boost and fuelpressurel. Each goes for 150+ and then the a pillar for a 2000 GT. I"m thinking about selling them. It seems like they are damn pointless. I feel like I should just sell them and buy a wideband digital readout gauge at some point.

Just wondering if any of you think i'll regret this decision.

Why are they a waste?

The boost gauge kind is (hard to watch when racing, dammed impossible really), but the fuel pressure at least lets you know if anything is wrong with the pump/fuel system.

I'd keep them both. You can watch your boost and if it ever stops rising to where its supposed to you know you have a problem.

I agree, the fuel pressure gauge is the only thing slightly useful. However, if i sold those i'd be within 150$ of buying a complete wideband setup. If somethings wrong with the fuel pump the wideband will definately let me know, to the point where you can program it to flash red if you achieve a certain A/F ratio at WOT.

so far as function, I would say a wideband is much more useful than either of the gauges you have.

I just have not been convinced that the portable widebands you can buy will be accurate enough to acutally tell you wtf is going on. I know alot of the a/f monitors are light shows....

If it acutally works correctly, it would be pretty cool to have one, and definatly more useful.

Well for $400, you can buy a setup that is pretty much used on the dyno, however instead of actually going to a computer it reads out on a programable digital gauge. You can also hook it up to a laptop and datalog.

Also, yeah the narrowband a/f gauges do nothing, but the wideband gauges actually have their own o2 sensors and are very accurate.

Wideband gauge is cool and all. It would be a neat thing to write in your signature. But why do you really need it? Are you planning on tuning your car yourself? Are you gonna data log and go home and write yourself a tune. Or do you just want to make sure your A/F ratio is at stoch. A narrowband is fine if you are just going to monitor your A/F ratio. They are acurate remember those o2 sensors you hook it to tell your computer if your to lean or rich.

Narrowband is borderline worthless, it's just a lightshow. Ultimately I would like to beable to tune my car, if I got the wideband all i would need is the sct racers package and I would have just as much capability as shops do, except using the track as my dyno.
