Yes an angle, BUT if you don't angle your car enough it doesn't do anything for you. The purpose of the angle is to create lift on the back of your car while your front is coming down. You need a pretty steep sideways angle to do that. Just make sure your Right front tire is still on the speed bump(descending down the other side) when your back Right tire is just touching the speed bump! NOW, when your back right tire is descending down the other side your Left Front tire needs to be climbing. Then your left rear tire needs to be climbing when your Left Front is descending! That will give your car all the clearance you need to make it possible to go over virtually any speed bump you encounter, as long as your front and rear Fascia allow you to approach the speed bump! Like I said you need to be really sideways to achieve this or it doesn't do anything!

My cars pretty low and ive never bottom'd out... theres no big speed bumps around here anyways...

dont go over them straight on..drive to the right when ur about to go over the speed bump..and dont go like 80 mil.es lol.

my gt is stock, the mach is lowered. I have gone over a bump pretty quick in the gt and never hit. In the mach, I either go slightly offset (as said above) straddle the middle, where there is usually no bump. Unless I don't go slow (maybe 5 mph?), I never hit with the mach either. It's about 1.5 in. lower than a GT...for reference.

You must have some mean speedbumps where you are.

Hit them at about 40 mph... it works.

Seriously, there is only 1 speed bump on campus that screws with me... i drive around it.

I go over them pretty slow its just at school they have like speed spikes they are tall and not very wide. they suck there like some type of plastic maybe ill have to keep it stock or else i wont be able to go to school. lol i could see my parents "why did you drop out." "well i wanted to lower the mustang".
