Default Funding...

As many of you probably know, I'm in the market for a v8 Mustang of some sort. I have around 18k and I'm not so sure how I should spend it. I found this really great deal on a Mach; $18,888 03, 33,734, Azure Blue. Is that even that good of a deal? Anyhow, if I buy that how can I get some cash for college? How did/are you guys making your way through school? Should I get that car and get other funds for school? Should I get a car around 10k and use the rest on school? How many miles should I expect to find on a Mustang GT for around 12k? South Texas area. THANKS!!

I have about 12 hours in college and I work about 30 hours a week. I pay my car payment and the insurance on the car and most of my expenses in college.

What kind of college are you going too?

I say you spend about 13k on the car and spend 5k in mods. Then the money you make after the 18k goes into a college fund. Which college?

I have no idea, I don't even know what I want to do yet! [&o] I make about a 1,200 a month give or take. (11 dollars an hour) So, I can afford the insurance on a GT; Mach? But, after I figure college in, I don't know where I will be financially. I think I want to be an engineer for Ford, Saleen or something like that but, I don't even know anything about the job like availability or anything like that. [:@]

I would get your college situation planned and set up first, then worry about spending money on a car.

If you're going to a 2 year college, working 30+ Hours a week and are making $10+ and hour, get the Mach. You won't have any money left over from the 18K, but you should have a decent income for a college student that would allow you to pay for college, insurance, and other expenses.
