I will try to post some pics...im kinda computer illiterate, but Ill do my best. As far as the installation goes, its fairly simple. The ballasts on the fog lights I mounted to the backside of the front crash bar, and im gonna mount the ballasts for the headlights somewhere on the core support. It takes about a half hour to do a good job of routing wires and mounting...

my 12k HIDS are sweet !!!! - man they really get attention in the evening - people flash brights at me sometimes bc theyre idiots - hids are just bright as hell - but they will get over it - the only down side is that you loose your highbeams and the high beam indicator is always on .. but its really no big at I wouldnt have anything but HIDs now

dont pay more than 250.00 for them!
people are flashing you because you are blinding them....who's the idiot
i don't know how it is where you live but in my area the Cops are ticketing everyone for HID's that are too bright...i guess we can thank the import crowd for the attention.

Well I've pretty much settled on spending the extra on the projectors to save people/me aggravation. I'm going to do 4300K for the headlights...might do 8000 for the fogs!

What do you guys think? Should I do 4300K all around, or have a fun colour on the fogs? Would the fogs make that much difference anyways, being that low to the ground?

I guess you love your "silverstars" .. get real HIDs are badass and sure they are bright but they certainly are legal .. 48 state DOT approved is on my box ...

Sorry to burst your bubble but unless the car came from the factory with HID's then it is illegal to retrofit them on your car so no its not legal. The product may be 48 state DOT legal but not on a MUSTANG they aren't since they are/were never an option.
And as far as having to turn your head to the right because some jerk is blinding you with their illegal headlights is as retarded. Why should we be blinded so you can have your kool blue/purple lights that aren't properly focused and shooting in all directions.

HIDs are annoying. They are illegal and are extremely blinding to any traffic coming at you. Think about what causes that other car to slam into you headon because they were blinded by your annoying lights. Some good bulbs in the stock lamps are good enough for me.

and you'll end up in a head on collision with someone because you blinded them on a dark two lane road.
