this kid at work says a SS camaro and a z28 both ls1 will walk all over a 03/04 mach one no question about it; absolutly kill. he also thinks a supercharger is bad for the car cuz it takes a pully away. i think the mach 1 will win seeing as how it has more horseys and cuz its lighter, but it will be a drivers race, what do you guys think? just wondering.

Equal drivers 98+ = the SS will win. But it's pretty much a drivers race (aren't they all??)

If there's a fear in losing, buy a shorty antenna. The aerodynamics will give your car an extra 10 horses. And the .0000002 lbs that has now been lifted off the car will SURELY give the Mach the edge! Hense why its a "New Edge" *wink wink*...that was gay

difference between the SS and Z28 in 4th gens is just cosmetics

you are stupid to put a blower on a mach, not cuase of the pully, but because of the compression ratio

also main difference between the two, the fbody is at the rear wheels, while the mach is at the fly wheel

the ls1 ss and z28 and a 03mach will be a close race..but the lt1 camaros will get banged on by the mach 1.

What the hell are you talking about, the F-bodies factory HP ratings are at the flywheel, and the SS is not a cosmetic difference, it has different susepension, a functioning hood scoop, and an extra 5-10 HP.
