whats better supersport or sportlines.
I'm gonna say the Supersports. Like that article says the sportlines were made for looks, they lower the car ~2" but keep the stock spring rates = bad for handling. The H&Rs are most likely much higher quality spring, as ive heard Eibachs sag over time. I had the Steedas before my H&Rs and I was not happy. They didnt lower the car much at all, and the H&R springs are actually thicker than the Steedas. H&R are made in Germany, and if u know about German stuff, then...

They are pretty low as is, but if you wanted it lower you could always take out an isolator or two.

H&R SSs with 18's on an SN95

I have the Eibach sport springs and it gives it a 1.5" drop and rides just as well as a stock spring because they are progressive which means they are a soft spring until pressure is put on them and then they get progressivly harder as they compress. Dont be suprised if you don't notice a great drop in inches right away it took about a month for mine to drop the full 1.5" the just have to settle. Anyway good luck and it will look awesome droped and you will like the cornering also probably 80% better handling.

I have to think the drop would be very similar, i've seen some low new edges with the H&R SS springs, somebody here has to have em and could post some pics. The ride really isnt as bad as i expected, it would probably be a little rough with stock struts but with aftermarket its very tolerable.

i have eibach pro kit its pretty nice. i woulda gotten the h&r supersports or whatever cuz they give you more of a drop but there are so many speedbumps where i live my exhaust system would be destroyed. it still hits sometimes with the eibach pro kit but not that bad.

damn still hits with the prokit =/ just got to whatch it..

anyways, yeah- whichever spring i go with ill for sure be pairing them up with adjustable shocks, c/c plates, my uca/lca and some strut connectors..

how do you like the launching aspects of the supersports?? hows the cornering??
so i just need to decide the spring!! POST some 99+ stangs with some SUPERSPORTS preferrably on 18s!

the car seems to come off the line fine on the street, but i have yet to take it to the track. The handling is also good, you'll think it's a new car. I'll see if i can dig up some pics of new edges for ya.
