Ah, people please learn before you post. It has been found out that the heads are not the most restrictive part of the swap. The intake/cams are where most of the power will be picked up. Plus another 10 or so from swapping the heads which could be from the result in bumping the compression up.
+1 i've heard more than a few of these statements....usually the numbers i've seen are about 15-17 hp from the intake, 12-15hp from the cams usually around 10 or so for the heads. Someone on a tight budget can come out w/ some pretty decent numbers at a pretty good price if you just do intake/cams because the heads are the most expensive part of the swap.

I doubt it! The highest flowing 2V head i have ever heard of was a SVO head with severe race port done to it....it flowed @ 280cfm
you probably were looking at pushrod heads.

Pi swap will def give you more power. BUT you will have 10:1 comp that will limit you if you ever decide to supercharge. BUT lol nos loves compression . Stage 2 cams (i think not positive) wont clear with the flathead pistons either. If you like nos def do the swap you wont be sorry

the heads don't need to be changed the only way you get power out of them is the compression raise. i am going to get crower stage 1's and the pi intake
