is it possible?
okay, so my friend's dad owns a scrap metal shop up in north houston, and recently a dude gave him a chevy 454, which im hoping is from a 70 chevelle SS.
my question is, would it be possible to fit it in the stang(or camaro, it's not decided exactly waht im getting yet)? and use the stock tranny and all that whatnot?

well...witholding the question of why...its probably possible, considering our engines are HUGE for their displacement...you probably got enough engine room HOWEVER...nothing will line up and you'll have to make a full k-member and change the tranny...not what your looking for...
They do make 350 swap conversion K-members...if you ABSOLUTLY want to do it...which may be more practical
Drop it in a camaro if anything, it should line up and match A LOT easier...good luck though

All I have to say is [sm=bangbang.gif][sm=chairshot.gif][sm=icon_beat.gif][sm=badidea.gif][sm=laughat.gif] Well sorry that's a lot of things to say, I just couldn't decide which smiley face worked best in this situation.
I think you would have a lot better response if you kept it out of a mustang. If you use a mustang you're going to put all that time and effort and money into the car and when it's all said and done, all you're going to have is a good looking chevy. Times are changing it's just not efficent to stick a big gas sucking, heavy, carburated engine into a newer car when all you have to do is buy a supercharger.
