I was wondering about the quality of MAC products? I was looking threw there web site and I noticed there thottle bodys, Under drive pulleys, and cold air systems seem to run cheaper than other companys. I was thinking that you get what you pay for.

 

YES you will get what you pay for.MAC products are good quality,but the Steeda pulleys had a better machined surface than the MAC's.The pulleys from Steeda are stand alone pulleys.The ones from MAC are piggyback.(you use the old harmonic balancer with MAC. The harmonic balancer is built in with Steeda.)

 

How about the cold air kits and there new straight shot system has anybody tested these yet? I have not seen a dyno sheet on the straight shot sytem.

 

I have purchased alot of MAC products and most have been OK but I did have a pro chamber fall apart with bad welds in 1 week, and they jerked me around real bad to get it right. Eventually it came out OK only slightly screwed. They are not very customer friendly have a lot of demand for their products and dont give a sh8t. Other than that I love the sound of the exhaust so much I stuck by it.

 

Mac is cheap and very low quality...I wouldn't buy their products.
