Hey guys can someone break down the odds and ends of an undrive pulley system for me

some pple say thier dumb, they can mess up ur systems as far as charging and or radio w.e, some say its all a myth n thier a nice way 2 free up some horses.. can someone give me pros and cons and do they affect ne thing as far as how the car runs.. i want to get a set fro x-mas

Well I just did a PI swap this weekend. I have a 2000 watt stereo. I put underdrive pulleys on adn while at idle my battery was really low. As soon as I would start moving it would shoot back up to normal capacity. I left the stock alternator pulley on and I had my radio off. So yes my battery did go low at idle, but it would charge up no problem while in motion.

I wasn't using my stereo because I put on longtubes and a a cam as well so I wanted to hear the exhaust. I had a coolant leak so it is in getting fixed. I won't know how well it works with the stereo cranked util this weekend.

Well I put on ported PI heads, Pi intake, comp cam 262's, 75mm accufab throttlebody, 24lb injectors, 80mm mass air, pulleys's,
aluminum driveshaft, Longtubes and off road x all this weekend. I am not sure. Sorry

97, although you werent using your 2000 watt stereo, your amps were on, so.


You will have problem with pulleys when you using extra electronic equipment or a super charger, other than that, get them.

I know they were using some power but, I am not sure what will happen when I have my stereo cranked and they are pulling more power.

What exactly will the pulley's do to a supercharged car? ive been wondering if it had any conflicts

They are working in the opposite ways.. Instead of slowing down all the accesories like pulleys do, you want superchargers to speed up everything.
