Im getting cams for xmas will i have to get a new programer i have a superchip max micro tuner

 

just don't go too radical. I had Crower Stage III's. Those cams cost me in gas mileage big time! 13 mpg, without even going over 3k rpm for the entire tank.

Several builders agreed that a really rich tune was required to feed my cams and blower.

They sounded great though.

IMHO there are way better ways to spend your $$

 

Which cams are you getting? We can't tell you much without knowing that.

 

im looking at a vt stage 1 or 2 deepends on how much extra it will cost for me(parents) to get titanium valve springs installed

 

im thinking a dynotune would be your best bet

have any how you got one in your car just want to know how they like it or any problems they have encountered.

 

a tuner wont help at all if your car cant idle cuz you got to aggressive cams...

if your plan on building your motor up stages IIs are worth it since your getting new valves anyway...

 

just wondering why did you guys say stage 1 is there any reason to it?
