What is the max PSI would a auto GT be able to hold?? more or less than a 5 spd..and what would be the best blower?

 

9-10 psi depending on how you drive, the tune, and what your other mods are that are giving you power

 

mine is tuned for 10PSI and is still emissions legal.... its a very moderate/safe tune.

 

It depends on the tune,you could have 10psi with a good tune and run for a long time,or you could have 6psi with a crap tune and blow up within a month.

 

so the auto and the 5spd hold the same boost

how much extra power can the auto tranny take? a friend of mine who has a firebird was saying that you don't want to s/c an auto car because it won't be able to handle the power. i would think that it would be able to handle the power from the 9-10 psi of boost though.
