Front end setup: Do you have extra caster?
Hi all,
I think I read that stock caster is something like 3deg. When you did your front end work did you have them set it up for extra caster, if so how much total 4deg? 6deg.

You can't adjust caster with the stock set up, you need c/c plates. With c/c plates I have mine set at 6*.

First off you need to know what is caster. Caster is how much wheel is to the front or back off its vertical axis. You all talking about negative caster, that is wheel is to the back of its vertical axis, towards rear. Ever notice how mustang never tracks straight? This is because frotnt suspencion is not solid. To fix this you can install strut tower brace, and/or add more negative caster. Be ware though, negative caster dulls steering response. Steering response on stock GT is great.

Thanks, first off I know what caster is and how it effects the handling of the vehicle, but thank you anyway. They don't track straight due in part to the factory caster setting. That is why I was asking what other people were having them set to.
