3 pedals = Manual

2 pedals = Auto

I know this may sound stupid, but how do I tell which type of tranny I have? I have an 04 GT. Thanks.

Just found this in the trans. tech area;

"The Mustang GT in 2001 had both the T5/T-45 and 3650 Transmissions. Check your driver's door for a sticker and look under "TR" for a "K". If you have a "K" then you have the 3650 Transmission."

Checked my door sticker and I have the K
None of the new edge cars had t-5s. I am 99.99 percent sure none of the 4.6L cars at all had the T-5.

What is the acutal year of your car, a 01 or a 02? If it was built and sold as an 02 its a 3650 for sure. All of the 02 cars had 3650s, as they swiitched mid thru 01.
