Yep...nobody was under the car thank god. Basically, the welds didn't crap out, but the pivot point on the stand took a huge ****. And these were craftsman jack stands. They were the low-budet model though... & about 4 years old.

So I bought some new ones The nicer model of course.

No. It was fine. I had the jack under the frame, not the "jack point." GOOD THING TOO!!! I've ****ed up my driver side running board by jacking up the car from the jack point. It happened a week or so ago...just seemed like a good post to make.

well the jack that took a poo fo rme was under a minivan, an dit died in a way nothing got damaged or hurt

yea i had that happen when i was changin landing gear on a cessna 421....unfortanately the gear was up and locked....did quite a bit of damage to the plane but luckily nobody was under it....now i dont trust any jack...only lifts
