Hey everyone, i bought me a 2003 GT and i have never seen one quite like this before. The rims on it are like a cobra rim but they have the mustang symbol in the center. And this car is suprisingly fast, i raced the older body style with the 5.0 and it was no compitition. The car will put you in your seat no problem. Is this a specail addition car or something? What do the emblems say on the back? Did the people you bought it from give you a list of mods or any info on the car?

All you have is an 03 GT. It runs low 14's in the 1/4 mile if you have a 5spd and can drive or mid 14's if you have an auto. Depending on what 5.0, if it was the GT or LX notchback, or auto or 5spd, they run low 14's to high 15's stock, so we would need to know the exact year, model and tranny. Your car might have some gears or a couple bolt ons, but we cant tell you about the gears, but the bolt ons, maybe, take a pic under the hood and post it.

+1 on the under hood pic, from the way you explain it i'm thinking it may be geared. what you can do is jack the rear up and count how many times the driveshaft turns when the tires make one full rotation

Isn't that 40th anniversary badging on the side? If so wouldn't that make it an 04?

Looks like you have 40th anniversary GT! Take a pic of the engine and you may want to check underneath for exhaust work.

i think he just found out the edges run better than the 5.0...lol nothing special about that unless the 5.0 he raced was modded....my 2 cents

They did put those wheels on the cobras in 2001, but in 2003 they started putting them on the Premium coupes and put the mustang center cap on them. I have the same wheels on my car.
