Default Horrible Gas Mileage w/ install of SCT Tuner

Hey Guys, I just installed the SCT Tuner on my 00' GT about a week ago, I have been noticing my fuel mileage drop. I have not changed my driving style. My car smells as if it is running rich. I am running a o/r x pipe and a Flowmaster cat back. I installed the tune they gave me for 93 octane.. I thought the tuner was "supposed" to give you better gas mileage and improved performance. I can feel the performance side but not the fuel mileage. ??? Any inout is appreciated, thanks.

Turn it back to stock and run it for a while, see if it makes a difference. If it does, then turn on your tuned aspects 1 by 1 and try to eliminate the possibilities.

More HP generally means less MPG no matter what they advertise...also you might not think your driving style has changed but i'm sure you are putting your foot into it alittle extra to check it out. Besides its just a generic tune that they give to everybody so you might have to adj it to better work with your car. A dyno tune is always the better way to go.

Well i suggested elimination because i have the SCT and i lost no mpg when i tuned mine in. Mine was a pretty aggressive tune, so i dont think it would be because of the tune itself.
