Default Bullit Pedal install tip

I finally got three of the four pedals on (still have not gotten the accelerator pedal on. I cannot get the cable out for the life of me)

Anyways, after you take off the clutch and brake pedal covers, take some sort of solvent and really clean the pedals before placing the piping hot bullit ones on. I did not clean them the first time I tried, and they were a bear. I took some wd-40 to em, cleaned them off, and they popped right on the second try.

Also on the dead pedal, instead of trying to pry it off, just get some good cutters on the underside and cut off the tabs. Should pop right off with no problems!

Hope these help someone!

I was thinking about getting a set of those. How is the grip compared to regular GT pedal covers?

AMAZING!!! You could coat your feet in astroglide and you'll still get plenty of grip on them. I thought the accelerator was the easy one, at least for me. The dead pedal wasn't too bad but the brake pedal is a total pain in the @ss.[:@]

i support that the accelerator was the easy one. i was so pissed after about half an hour trying to get those stupid pedal on that i just trim a little bit of them and used a lot of dw40
