All the 04's are around that price... its a brand new car, well... kinda

But all you need is some deep-dish anthracites in the back

Nice car

Not even close... my friend just bough an 04 with 20k sonic blue for 14k out the door and he could have done better

for 18 I could find a used 05 GT or 03 cobra coupe - that is just way way too high

I paid 16k for my 03 vert - centinal - mach 1000, leather, polished wheels and 8k miles in 04.... Im not tryin to be a dik - im serious if you can return it do it, because that is about 4-5k too high

18k is a very nice price where i am. All the 04s (with low miles) are 19-21 aruond here. Plus it has a few mods. Good find.

Where do you do your searching? You keep saying you can find cars for such and such low prices, but I have been researching cobra's, mach I's, GT's for about 8 months now and I cannot find any 03/04 cobra for much less than $20k. Unless they are either salvaged, high mileaged, or taken apart and lay in pieces. Either way, unless someone just wants to take a chance on what I mentioned above, then I just don't see that happening. If you can prove me wrong and post a website that has those type of deals, be my guest cuz I actually hope you can prove me wrong. $18k is usually in the mach I, 01 cobra range depending on miles. I've seen a few 50k mile 01's go for $14k-$15k tho.

I don't think you can find an 03/04 Cobra for 18k unless it's salvaged and even then it'll be hard. You can definitely find a 99/01 Cobra/Mach for 18k though. There is nothing wrong with a salvaged car. After all the repairs I payed about $6k for my GT and it has 55k miles and runs like new. These days with $6k you can't even buy a nice Fox Body[&:]

A salvaged car is fine if you find one that wasn't in too bad of shape. I've seen a few people get burned by getting salvaged cars so thats why I caution anyone that wants to buy one. Just do your research and find everything about that car in particular that you want before you buy it. Many times tho, once a car is wrecked... it is never the same again. But there are times when thats not the case tho.

Well drivability wise my car is fine. It doesn't pull or anything like that. Aesthetically it could be in better shape. The fenders and hood don't line up 100% but it isn't noticable if you're not stupid like me. The paint is a bit off in some spots but that's not the wrecks fault. All of this could be fixed with a bit better body work but....they were damn cheap
