And yes stonemonk coolant should be nowhere near there..........


good pic.. not good that there is coolant all around there. how low was the coolant???

What motor do you have? I know on mine(4.6), I found coolant all over the bottom of the oil pan and thought I'd lost my mind. Turns out the seal around the water pump had started leaking. It was running down the front of the engine behind where I could see and getting blown around. Pretty weird to see.

Could be the water pump is going though. I think the spout jdaniel is referring to is the weep hole.

yeah thats tha problem...the seal went bad. But im just going to buy a new pump and gasket. It was leaking down to the crank pully and it was blowing it all ova tha place. In the pic you can see were everything looks like it has nasty white stuff caked on. That's dryed coolant.
