that would be very bad if coolant was coming from the timing cover. i bet its coming from the thermastat. i've seen two of those gaskets go bad. your local auto should have the gasket in stock. can't remember the part # though.

monty, it's probably the seal gone bad in the water pump. take a clean rag and wipe off the area below the water pump real well and feel around under the water pump for the small hole in the housing extension. you can use a small mirror like a girl's compact to see under here. it could be oozing with the engine off, but if not, after cleaning start the engine and bring it up to temp and then shut it down and look into this area again. my guess is that the seal in the pump is bad and you need to replace it although it is still a chance the gasket between the timing cover and water pump is the source of the leak. this happened to me, something got into the gasket and caused corrosion between the iron of the pump and the aluminum of the timing cover and actually ate away the metal causing a leak. I replace the pump anyway but I had to do a little filing to clean up the gasket surface on the timing cover to make sure I didn't have another leak. I also removed the metal plate from the back of the water pump and installed a small bead of high temp RTV on both side of it before mounting the gasket and bolting up the pump again. it's clean and dry today!

Okay you guys are right it is coming form the water pump....I had to nearly break my neck trying to see it. But there is a small stream going straight down then it just spreads out all ova tha place.

WHATSAMATTU? you ain't go no mirror? when you go to buy new pump, pick up an inspection mirror on an extension so you can save your neck next time! LMFAO
