Sqeaky Power steering?

Default Sqeaky Power steering?

My power steering is squeaking. Its been cold here in Kansas, but could anything else cause this?

is the fluid full? and your sure there are no leaks?

If I’m not correct please correct me, mustangs, (at least my 99) uses automatic transmission fluid instead of power steering fluid. Make sure it has the correct fluid. Another thing that could squeak when you turn the struts would be the rubber boots that sit at the top of the struts. Use silicone spray and the straw and lube it up good, you might fined that the squeak goes away, that was the case on my 99GT.

Did it squeak when it was warm? Might tell you if it's just the cold making it squeak.

I have the same problem! I think. When I turn the steering wheel it kinda squeeks a bit. I think it's happened in warm weather too though so that doesnt sound good.
