Buy and '05 GT. Much more bang for the buck right out of the shoot unmodified. A simple CIA can add as much as 25 to 30+ HP. Motor is very receptive to minor mods.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack. I'll stop ranting now.

I'd go for the Fox. It'll be as reliable as the builder. Plus, it's nice to have something to go get parts with if you forget something and your car is in pieces. I'll never go back to having just a single car.[:'(]

The reasoning behind the fox was something that I could tinker with and learn along the way. Ok let me put it like this....
To make the gt run 12's without stripping it down is a supercharger-5k
How much would it be to make a fox run 12s?
I dont really know alot about the 5.0s but have always heard they were cheap.

Keep the GT as a DD! Mine runs great with the s/c for a DD! Its just like driving a normal stang until you get on it! Gas is not an issue like I thought it would be. My car doesnt use much more gas now than it did before the s/c! If you think you are putting too many miles on the car then just buy a $500 backup motor like I did.
