I raced a supercharged cobalt SS a few weeks ago with my current mods in my sig. From a dead stop at a street light I smoked his a$$. He gunned it at the light and jumped me by a fender so I decided it was on. I pulled it into the power band and speed shifted into second and left his a$$ in confusion. I pulled on him by about 4 lengths up to about 70-75mph then backed off. I could see his nose rising and dipping as he shifted through the gears trying to keep up. When he caught up to me he pulled along side, smiled and his exact words were "that things f@#king fast".
You shouldn't have a problem but 4.10's would make it easier.

negative, there is a N/A cobalt SS. Check the chevy website. The Supercharged SS is 2.0L/ 205hp and the SS is 2.4L/ 173hp.

all cobalt ss's are supercharged and stock they run high 14's according to automotive magazines. u should win with ur mods and his extra weight in the trunk so bet him $$$$
is his the supercharged SS or the N/A SS?

You should beat him without much trouble from a dig,but it will be closer from a roll.Stock the run mid 14s[quickest I've seen is a 14.3] at 98-99mph,although some have trapped 100mph stock.The S/C cars are badly underated at 205hp,in reality they generaly make 205-215hp at the wheels stock,but they do give up quite a bit of torque to GT's.
