yes....and it is a very good investment, well worth the money. But make sure you have a transcooler installed as well or you will have problems+

well shift kits put a lot of extra stress and heat on the tranny. You'll definately want to install one, or else you definately overheat the tranny and break the overdrive band or do worse damage.

As for the brand, there can be problems with any of them if installed incorrectly. It is very easy to screw it up. Buy a trans go, and either pay to have it , or have someone that has done it before or been around tranny work

That's another question i had. I just talked to a mechanic here where i live and asked how much it would cost to install. He estimated me at about 150-175ish. But he said that it's real simple to install and that i could easily do it myself. He told me if i decide to do it myself and have any questions that i could call him. So you guys recommend that i just pay someone to do it?

like i said if you have someone that has done it, or knows about transmission you can do it. You have to drill into the valve body...if you screw that up, you're car will be toast for a while. Plus you lots of little ***** and springs that have to go back in the right place. YOu really only get one chance, because if you screw it up, you could really damage your tranny. I would say it can easily be done if you have someone, or if you are pretty well mecahnically inclined, but its not quite like changing spark plugs

Actually, this is not true. Shift kits help improve the life of auto's. The number one killer of auto's is heat. If the shift kits caused heat, that wouldn't work out too well would it?

You can actually run a shift kit w/o a tranny cooler. Although, if you have the $$$ then tranny coolers are good isurance. You will also need a tranny cooler for sure if you put in a stall converter b/c they produce more heat.

TransGo is a good company. I havn't seen any B&M kits for our car's, although there may be some.

Okay, good. I heard that it could be ran without a cooler but I didn't know why some people said i need one and some said i didn't. Thanks for the info. I just ordered it.
