Default winterizing

So this weekend im gonna completely wash the whole car and detail it out inside and out front to back. Im not gonna be driving it much at all in the winter cuz im gonna use the excursion in the winter. Unfortunately I can't garage it...garage is full with my moms truck and my dad's stang. So I already have a car cover but I was wondering if theres anything i should specifically do to keep her healthy over the winter.

Don't worry about searching, if everyone took Mikes advice everyone would have to search & this place would die out.

What kind of cover did you get? Is it actually water proof?

There is usually a lot of wind in the winter, so whenever you get the chance, you might want to pull the cover off and dust/detail or wash the car. If dust gets under the cover & the wind picks up...it's just going to be rubbing sand all over the paint.

if you arent gonna move it all winter..... unhook the battery, chuck the wheels just to be safe, fill it up with a full tank of gas and pray nothing bad happens to it

Since your keeping it outside I hope you got a good cover because on top of what Dan said if it a cheap one or one not designed for outside it will trap moisture which also can be bad for the paint and car.
Keep the gas tank Full. I like to park my car on a rubber mat to keep a barrier between the ground and all the unpainted parts underneath the car (rust [:@]). Keep the tires full of air so you don't get flat spots. and put something in the car and engine bay that will keep critters away from making a nice winter home.
